Impeachable Offence

Written by Marty on June 7th, 2005

    In the Downing Street Memo it states;

Military action was now seen as inevitable. Bush wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.

Mr. Bush was fixing the facts around the policy not to go after the terrorist who attacked us on 9/11, but rather to invade a nation which was no threat to us. As a result those who did attack us are still running free, 1600 Americans have died in Iraq and over 100,000 innocent Iraqis have also died. Many say that lying before Congress as he did is an impeachable offence. Which brings to our poll:

Who was more deserving of impeachment?

1) George W. Bush, who fixed the facts for war on a nation that had not attacked nor was a threat to us. Lied to Congress for that war where 1600 Americans and over 100,000 Iraqis have died. Sanctioned the torturing of prisoners, and sending people to foreign countries to be tortured. Sponsored the assassination of foreign leaders, and outed a CIA agent. Back the braking into the computers of political opponents. Spied on American citizens, barred American citizens from public meetings arresting them without cause. Hindered the 9/11 investigation, and the failures around it. Rigged two elections, by removing citizens from the voting roles, denying them access to the voting poll and illegal computer virus.

2) Richard M. Nixon, who spied on private citizens, sponsored the assassination of foreign leaders. Back the braking into the offices of political opponents. Fired the Independent Prosecutor who was investigating because he would not cover it up. Tried to cover up the activities of those people.

3) W. J. Clinton, who received a BJ in the Oval Office.

    Congressman John Conyers is calling on American citizens to sign on to a letter to the President that demands a response to questions originally posed by Conyers and 88 other members of Congress in a similar letter dated May 5, 2005. Conyers has committed to personally delivering the letter to the White House when it garners 100,000 250,000 citizen signatures.

    I don't see how so many can say to impeach President Bush, the man hasn't even had an investigation yet. No one knows if this stuff is true or not.

  3. Anonymous says:

    Why is that? If Clinton had done half of the thing that Bush is doing they would have hung him out to dry long ago. I save bring on the trial!

    The massive hedge fund loss is the newest tentacle of the scandal that's become known as “Coingate,” because the workers' fund may be missing $10-12 million in assets in an investment with a rare coin dealer. The dealer, Tom Noe, also is a key GOP figure and major fundraiser for President Bush in Ohio, the state that narrowly gave him the final 20 electoral votes for his narrow re-election.
    Unbelievable!
