Many Progressives have been dissatisfied with how Obama has been going up the middle of the road.  Instead of meeting the President halfway the Republicans have acted more like the Teabaggers without any foundation in reality and facts.  They would rather see another great depression than see a Democratic President succeed.  The fact is that our economic troubles are the product of right-wing policies, the same ones that gave us the first Great Depression.  The only difference is that Republicans recognized that other one was coming and tried to setup the Democratic Party to take the blame.  What they didn't count on was that President Obama and the Democrats have stop or slowed our entry into a second great depression.  The key will be to turn the economy around.  A strong jobs bill would be a good start.
