Ancient Rome was a glorious place with many of the modern day wonders. Life in Rome was wonderful unless you were one of the subjugated masses. If you were one of those brutality and suffering was your life. Rome was made strong by the sword and it was that which eventually brought her down. In the video clip the one Muslim asked how could their hold on Europe, which had lasted nearly a thousand years have come to an end. They can speculate as they will but the answer is found in how they came to power. Shakespeare’s Hamlet used the words, “Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword” Jesus said, “all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” (Mt. 26: 52) This is the case with the Islamic faith, for it began to spread by force. For any faith or democracy to last it must be chosen by freewill.

Some will argue that many Christians did the same thing during the Crusades and they would be correct. Let me clarify that; there were those who called themselves Christians in the Middle Ages that forced conversion by the sword. We would argue that those were Christians in name only. Perhaps these Muslims were not true to their faith too, but to my knowledge I know of no cases where they have laid down their lives as Christian missionaries have. Now I will not claim to know a great deal about their religion, but as I see it there are those who believe that force and terrorism are acceptable ways to spread their faith.

After watching the video of these radicals I can only say that all faiths need to give witness and if that witness is true then no force will be necessary. The fact that it is illegal in most Middle East countries to convert a Muslim to Christianity tells me that they fear the Christian message. In this video clip we see what the forces behind today’s terrorism are. Click here to see the video clip
