Zoie's Corner 2

Written by Christianity and the Confusion on August 10th, 2005

This is the second page for Zoie’s Corner as a permanent page it will occasionally need to be replaced with a clean page. The old page will be found in the archives or at http://www.christianity-and-the-confusion.com/blog/_archives/2004/5/22/74786.html

This is the purpose of Zoie's Corner.

There is so much sorrow in the world that some times we forget the good. On this page we invited you all to share  the joy in your lives, tell us of that which gives you happiness. To quote the Bible:

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I just wanted to share with all of you this picture from the balcony of the hotel here in Astoria. For the last week I have been on vacation. I might be bias about the coast of Oregon, but I think this is the most beautiful place on Earth. I am planning on retiring here in a few years. It is just so peaceful and relaxing. I just thank God that I can enjoy these things as many people could not afford it. Each time I feel a little down I remind myself how good I have it. I also will look at the pictures from my vacations to lift my spirits. We often look at our lives and wish for more not realizing just how blessed we are. Some times not being rich is more of a blessing than being rich. I am not looking forward to ending my vacation, but I praise God for the time here on the coast. click here to see the picture.

It is a beautiful picture, thanks. I agree with you, we should be more thankful for what we have.

I know that there are a lot of skeptics that won’t see how faith in the Lord can get you though any tough times, but a story like this helps me to think. I really need to put more faith in the Almighty.

Just a note to remind everyone, and Zoie too, not to forget the labors of The Most High this Labor Day. For truly He gave all, for us. Thank you, peace and joy be yours.
