I just finished watching the VP debate and my blood is boiling! I don't see how Palin can sleep at night, how can she call herself a Christian and lie through her teeth? The lie that she said the most was that Barack was going to raise taxes on everyone even when Biden set the record straight that the only ones that would see their taxes go up would be those people making over $250,000 and that those taxes would just return to the levels of the Reagan days. Even when Biden said that people making under $150,000 would see their taxes go down she keep telling the same lie. It was as if she had a script and didn't want to get off her talking points.

Why is it ok to lie in politics? If someone says that he or she is a Christian shouldn't that person act like a Christian? My Bible says that barring false witness is a sin, does Palin's Bible read differently?

“If the election were held today, Obama would win every state John Kerry won in 2004, while adding New Mexico (5 EV), Iowa (7 EV), and Colorado (9 EV) to his coalition. Remember, though, that these state polls are a lagging indicator and most do not include any surveying done after the vice-presidential debate on Thursday night.”
Rove cautioned on “Fox News Sunday”: “Remember, the campaign ebbs and flows. What we're seeing here is a result of the focus of the American people, voters, on the economic problems that have dominated the news the last several weeks. What's happened then is a shift to Obama.
“Just remember, 17 days ago in the electoral college, McCain led 227 to 216. Fifteen days ago, on the eve of the news on the bailout, he led 216-215.This race is susceptible to rapid changes and we're likely to see, in the remaining four weeks, more changes.”

    But the election isn't today…

Karl Rove is a criminal and I don't care what he has to say!

    Dear Friends,
We knew we hit a nerve when Rush, Drudge, and O'Reilly unleashed on us the same day. Then, MSNBC censored the McCain health records ad, a Brave New PAC initiative, due to Bill O'Reilly/Fox's pressure.

And why? Because of the work we have all done together to stress the importance of John McCain releasing his health care records. Led by over 2500 doctors from around the country, Republicans, Independents and Democrats, asking important questions about the records, about his health, and stating loud and clear the records should be released.
We need your help to continue to get the message out. We must keep the focus on these records and getting them released. We must take an ad out in the NY Times. We must hold press events with doctors in Colorado, Florida, Michigan, and Ohio. We must interview more doctors, create video clips and send them around. Can you contribute to making all this possible?
This campaign is the result of all your great work in spreading the videos, telling friends, bloggers, radio, TV, unions and churches about the issues — McCain has a YouTube Problem just passed 5.5 million views. Thank you for your support. More to come!

Is McCain just getting too old and tired or does he really see us as his fellow prisoners of the failed Republican policies of the last 30 years? You got to face facts, our economy was ruined by Republicans just like they did before the Republican Great Depression. It took Democrats to save the country then and now! The fact is that normal working Americans always do better economically when Democrats are leading the Country.

The Nation was stunned at Mr. Bush's latest executive order. Democrats protested that it was bad enough to have marshal law declare but now with a stoke of his pin it is decreed that only Fox News and the Washington Times will be covering the election results. Howard Dean was heard to say that, “The Republicans won't be happy until every Democrat is locked up.” Dick Cheney assures that the election will be fair and to make sure of that he is appointing Karl Rove to oversee the election results.
You know they would try it if they could.

What gets me is that so many Republicans think that there is nothing wrong with that.

I know that liberals like to think that they are the only ones that want people to vote, but that's just not the case.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – On Tuesday, Governor Charlie Crist signed Executive Order 08-217, extending the hours for early voting during the current General Election. Effective immediately, early voting sites will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., through Friday, October 31, 2008, and for a total of 12 hours between 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2008.
“I have spoken with the Secretary of State and members of the Florida Legislature and have concluded that it is always the right thing to do to give voters every opportunity to cast a ballot,” Governor Crist said. “I have a responsibility to the voters of our state to ensure that the maximum number of citizens can participate in the electoral process, and that every person can exercise the right to vote.” Link

By now everyone has heard all the Neo-Con lies about how we Liberals are out to get your guns. Well, if there was any truth to that we would have done it long ago. It is just another Neo-Con non-issue, but here is an issue for you gun and hunting advocates. What good is your gun going to do you when you cannot afford bullets? What good will it be to have legal hunting if you cannot afford the gas to get out of town? Did you know that the biggest items being pawned are guns? That is right, there is no one, not on the right nor on the left that is trying to take your gun away from you, but if we continue down the economic road of Conservatism this recession will become another Republican Great Depression. Given the choice between your useless gun and food which do you think you will choose? Republicans might as well be trying to take your guns from you because their policies will do just that.
