Republicans vs. Democrats

This may be a partisan video, but it is very revealing about today's Republican Party. As it is, the Democratic Party has bent over backwards to try work with the Conservatives, but it would seem that the right thinks that it is their way or the hi-way. It was bad enough when they were in the majority and wanted to make all the calls, but now as the minority, they want to defy the democratic will of the American People. They have rightly earned the title of the Party of No. Their only goal seems to be to see the President and the Country fail, even if that means disaster.  Maybe I am bias, but this seems just unpatriotic.

I like the cartoon image of the two clubbing each other, it just shows haw foolish our political system has become. Why can't the two parties just work together?

Great news, the House passed it!

The U.S. House of Representatives narrowly passed a massive overhaul of the American health care system Saturday night by a vote of 220 to 215. One Republican, Rep. Joseph Cao of Louisiana, crossed the aisle, while 39 Democrats joined the Republicans in opposing the measure. Link

I think we all need to say a prayer today in church thanking God that we are starting down the right road.

The Bill is so not perfect, but it's a start. It will really do something about the Health care crisis. What have Republicans done to fix that crisis? Nothing, what have they done to cause that crisis? Everything! So, which party is really protecting Americans? In my opinion, it has to be the Democratic Party.

How is it going to fix a phony crisis? There's nothing wrong with our health care, it's the best in the world! All the Dems are doing is finding ways to raise taxes. This is just stupid!

You think that it's all a hoax? OMG… Don't you watch the news? Insurance companies have been causing the deaths of thousands. Don't you care about that?

It's not that they have made up the crisis out of thin air, no they just took a small problem and made it into a big one.

I watch the news and I don't see anything about thousands dying. Why do Libs hate Insurance companies? Is it just that you guys hate all capitalism? Just asking.
